What to Do on Friday Night

If your knowledge of Belsnickel is limited to what you learned from Dwight Schrute, you can meet the cantankerous character of folklore for yourself tomorrow evening, Friday, December 9, during Candlelight Night at the James Vanderpoel House.

The Candlelight Night festivities include:

• Museum Shop open--2 to 8 p.m.
• Music from David Smith and the Broad Street Trio--5 to 7 p.m.
• The arrival of Belsnickel with treats for kids--6 to 7 p.m.

The James Vanderpoel House, a property of the Columbia County Historical Society, is located at 16 Broad Street (Route 9) in Kinderhook.
