The Vermont Sail Freight Project barge, Ceres, sailed into a slip at riverfront park yesterday, and tomorrow--Wednesday, July 9--they will be offering their wares for sale at Rick's Point from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. They have already been down the river, and this is their return trip back north. They report that "a few items are sold out but by and large we have a very wide array of syrups, preserves, oil, honey, flours and grains still on offer." So if you need a midweek infusion of goods for your larder, come down to the riverfront and stock up on food stuffs sustainably produced and sustainably delivered to our shore.
