There was a Labor Day parade in New York City today, and all the candidates in next Tuesday's primary election were there. Click here to see how Andrew Cuomo and Kathy Hochul responded when Zephyr Teachout tried to greet them. Click here to read the New York Times account of what happened.
I wish Ms. Teachout well. She has run an informative, positive campaign on a shoestring budget. The Governor should be concerned. Ignoring Ms Teachout is a slap in the face of the election process and in turn, all New Yorkers.
ReplyDeleteUtterly appalling. Even in the most hotly contested races, candidates exchange a word or two and shake hands. This is exactly the way he governs. Bully and ignore any criticism or concern.
ReplyDeleteWhat's even more appalling is the fact that the Working Families Party chose to endorse Cuomo. What the hell is wrong with those people?
ReplyDeleteNew York has been governed by thugs for decades. Cuomo I was a thug. Pataki was a thug. Spitzer the Whoremaster was a thug. Cuomo II is a thug. Why is anyone surprised?
