Are You Registered to Vote?

If you are not registered, or if you are registered somewhere other than Columbia County, you must register or change your address by Friday, October 10, in order to vote on November 4.

If you have moved within Columbia County, you have until Wednesday, October 15, to change your address in order to vote on November 4.

New registration and change of address can be accomplished at the Columbia County Board of Elections, 401 State Street. The office is open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.

If you know you will away on Election Day and need an absentee ballot, the application can be downloaded here. If returned by mail, the completed application must be postmarked no later than October 28. If returned in person, the application must be delivered to the Board of Elections by November 3, the day before the election.
