The Rise of the Tall Garage

Last summer, Gossips reported the drama as the proposal to increase the height of the garage beside 829 Warren by 19 feet sought a certificate of appropriateness from the Historic Preservation Commission. It took the better part of the summer to get the proposed construction, characterized by one member as a "folly," approved, but it finally happened at the end of September.

In the last month or so, work has begun on the tall garage. Since Gossips devoted so much attention to it last summer, we decided to revisit the project periodically this summer to monitor the progress. This is how the building appeared earlier this week.
