More Pizza on Warren Street

On Friday, the Historic Preservation Commission granted a certificate of appropriateness for a sign to be hung from the newly restored facade of 523 Warren Street.

The sign, made from an actual slice of wood, bark and all, cut from the trunk of a tree, will read: OAK Pizzeria Napoletana. Yes, three doors up from Baba Louie's, which has been serving wood-fired pizza, salads, pasta, and soup for ten years, there soon will be a southern Italian eatery serving pizza and other things. The new restaurant is expected to open in the second or third week in July.
