Mark Your Calendars

Wyndcliffe (or Wyndclyffe), the magnificent ruin that was once the home of Elizabeth Schermerhorn Jones, Edith Wharton's aunt, and inspired the expression "keeping up with the Jones," is to be sold in a bankruptcy auction on September 21, at 11 a.m., at the LaGuardia Airport Marriott Hotel.
