On the Waterfront

Today, Joey and I took our morning walk in riverfront park and discovered Apollonia moored in northernmost slip.

Last year, Apollonia spent the month of May at the Hudson River Maritime Museum in Kingston having its rigging restored and rebuilt. Now, looking quite different than it did a year ago, Apollonia is back in Hudson.

In a brief conversation with Sam Merrett, I learned that a community event is being contemplated to introduce Apollonia to the Hudson waterfront. When information about that event is available, Gossips will share it.

  1. We need more vessels like this, and get rid of the 2 tramp ferry's that are moored along the public docks.

    1. All Iarge vessels s/b kept off shore, on the sunny side of the precious entrapped eastern shore.

  2. Tried my best today to explain to these guys that their vessel s/b moored on the eastern shore of the middle ground island, like old timmers did before Power Boat was there, but they didn't understand...

Marketing 101, in sight, in mind...
