Gossips missed posting the update yesterday, so here it is, a day late. Yesterday, Monday, July 12, the Columbia County Department of Health reported two new cases of COVID-19 since Friday, July 9. The number of active cases reported yesterday was two fewer than on Friday, from which it can be inferred that four more county residents are now considered to be recovering from the virus. The number of county residents in mandatory quarantine yesterday was three more than in Friday, but the number hospitalized remained the same. Yesterday, there had not been a death from COVID-19 reported in Columbia County since June 24.
