The deadline for submitting written comments to the Hudson Industrial Development Agency (IDA) regarding the Galvan Foundation's request for PILOTs and other financial assistance for the two apartment buildings proposed for North Seventh Street has been extended. The following notice appeared today on the IDA page of the City of Hudson website:
Deadline for written Public Comments on the Galvan Foundation's 708 State Street & 75 North 7th Street Housing Projects has been further extended to Tuesday, August 17, 2021 at 12:00 noon to mtucker@columbiaedc.com.
Next Meeting: A City of Hudson IDA Special Meeting to consider the projects is scheduled for Tuesday, August 17th at 1:00 pm at CEDC's Office at One Hudson City Center, Hudson, NY.
It's rare in Hudson to see the statement, "If you haven't already commented".
ReplyDeleteIf I am an IDA board member, as Tiffany Garriga is, I am certainly not reposting Galvan's advertisement for their project on Facebook or anywhere else, as she has done. Whether I am vehemently opposed to or enthusiastic about the proposal, or any proposal being considered, I keep my mouth shut about my opinions to prevent even the slightest perception of conflict of interest. Who thinks for one second that at least one IDA board member gives one hoot about what someone opposing the PILOTs for this project has to say about it? Bill Huston
