Tommy Stinson, of The Replacements and Guns N Roses, and Chip Roberts have formed a duo called Cowboys in the Campfire. They will be performing this Saturday, September 11, at the Park Theater, 723 Warren Street, in a concert to benefit Perfect Ten. The event begins at 7:00 p.m.
In junction with the concert, there is an online auction, which began last week and continues until 11:55 p.m. on September 11. The auction includes several items of Stinson's rock and roll memorabilia, along with such intriguing things as a private presentation by Victoria Wyeth on the art of her grandfather, Andrew Wyeth, and her uncle Jamie Wyeth, and an in-home Asian-inspired omakase dinner for two created by Chef Dennis Gardon. Tomorrow, Wednesday, September 8, at 9:30 a.m., you can tune in to Radio Woodstock WDST 100.1 FM to hear Stinson and Roberts talk about the upcoming event.
