At the September meeting of the Hudson IDA (Industrial Development Agency), Mike Tucker reported there was a buyer for The Wick Hotel, and the new buyer was hoping to continue the existing PILOT (payment in lieu of taxes) agreement that the current owners have.
Since then, the buyers of The Wick have appeared before the Columbia County IDA, and the minutes from the September 11 meeting reveal who they are: a partnership of Jeremy Selman, Gabriel Katz, and Sean Roland, the latter two known to Gossips readers as the owners of the Pocketbook Factory, currently being restored and redeveloped as part hotel and wellness center and part commercial and public space.
