The Hudson River Exchange debuted on what had to have been the hottest weekend of the summer, but despite the oppressive heat, it was a tremendous success. Since then the aggregation of local makers and collectors has returned to do a weekend pop-up shop at Sorted Creative on Warren Street in October and a gift booth at Basilica Farm & Flea last weekend.
Now the Hudson River Exchange is getting ready to open a pop-up vendor market at 704 Columbia Street, on the north side of the Public Square (a.k.a. Seventh Street Park). The Winter Market will open its doors at 2 p.m. this Saturday--three hours in advance of the start of Winter Walk--and will stay open throughout the event, offering the wares of amazing vendors, music, and food until 8 p.m.
The Winter Market will be open again on Sunday, December 8, from 11 am. to 5 p.m., and on the following weekend, December 14 and 15, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day, Saturday and Sunday.
