Question Asked and Answered

No more questions remain about the origins of school building names. A reader just provided the word that the new owners of the Charles Williams School had researched the building's history and published their findings on their website, Second Ward Foundation.

The Charles Williams School, which was constructed in 1924 and dedicated as the Charles S. Williams Memorial School, was named for the man who preceded Montgomery C. Smith as the superintendent of the Hudson Public Schools.
