In the past week or so, whenever Joey and I get anywhere near the nest at the edge of the pond in Cedar Park Cemetery, the adult Canada geese flap their wings, hiss, and threaten. We haven't been able to get close enough to see if the eggs have hatched. But a reader managed it and sent me this picture. Note the little gosling beneath Mother Goose's wing.
