Reviving an American Tradition

This afternoon, members of Friends of the Hudson City Cemetery and their friends gathered for a picnic at Hudson's burying ground. Departing from the tradition of dining among the departed, today's picnickers did not situate themselves among the tombstones. Instead, on this warm spring day, they gathered in the shade on the great lawn at the entrance to Cedar Park.
