Meetings of Interest in the Week Ahead

In the forecast for the week, there's a lot of rain, a little sunshine, and meetings on four of the five days.
  • On Tuesday, May 7, the Conservation Advisory Council meets at 6 p.m. at City Hall. Some of the items on the agenda are: distribution of the Open Space and Natural Resources Inventory and presentation to the Common Council; design for the Empire State Trail on Harry Howard Avenue; a tree ordinance initiative.   • On Wednesday, May 8, the Hudson Housing Authority Board of Commissioners meets at 6 p.m. in the Community Room at Bliss Towers. The meeting always offers the possibility of an update on the proposed renovation of Bliss Towers and new construction on State Street.
  • On Thursday, May 9, the board of HCDPA (Hudson Community Development and Planning Agency) meets at 2 p.m. at 1 North Front Street. No agenda is available for the meeting.
  • On Friday, May 10, the Historic Preservation Commission will not be meeting at 10 a.m. at City Hall. In the afternoon, the Tourism Board will be hearing presentations from three of the four groups being considered to help develop a marketing strategy for Hudson: Neo Design Group, Fifteen Degrees, and BBG&G. The presentations will take place at 1:00, 2:30, and 4:00 p.m., at 1 North Front Street.
