COVID-19 Update

The Columbia County Department of Health has released its numbers for today. Since yesterday, there have been two new cases of COVID-19 and four more people are recovering. It would seem that would reduce the number of active cases by two, but CCDOH is still reporting nine active cases, the same as yesterday. There are nine fewer county residents in mandatory quarantine today than yesterday, but there are two more in precautionary quarantine. There are still three people hospitalized with the virus. This is the sixty-fifth day that CCDOH is reporting no new deaths.
