On Tuesday, to mark the 100th anniversary of the ratification of the Nineteenth Amendment, Donald Trump pardoned Susan B. Anthony for the offense of voting illegally in 1872.
Today, the Huffington Post reports that the Susan B. Anthony Museum has declined Trump's pardon, on behalf of the celebrated suffragist to whose memory the museum is dedicated: "Susan B. Anthony Museum Rejects Trump Pardon, Tells How He Can Really Honor Her." Among the suggestions offered was this: "If one wants to honor Susan B. Anthony today, a clear stance against any form of voter suppression would be welcome."
