COVID-19 Update
The Columbia County Department of Health has released its numbers for today. Since yesterday, there has been one new case of COVID-19, and one more person is now listed as recovering, which means the number of active cases in the county remains the same, at eight. There are two more county residents in mandatory quarantine and none in precautionary quarantine. The number hospitalized remains at one, and, for the eighty-fourth consecutive day, there have been no new deaths.
One positive result out of 245 tests puts the percentage positive in the past day at 0.4 percent.
