You Can't Come Here from There: Update

Last Tuesday, on the day of back to back meetings from morning until night, Gossips missed reporting the changes to New York's COVID-1 Travel Advisory list. Apparently, the Northern Mariana Islands were added to the list last week, but this week they were removed, along with six states: California, Hawaii, Maryland, Minnesota, Nevada, and Ohio. The current list includes twenty-eight states, Guam, and Puerto Rico.
  • Alabama
  • Alaska
  • Arkansas
  • Delaware
  • Florida
  • Georgia
  • Guam
  • Idaho
  • Illinois
  • Indiana
  • Iowa
  • Kansas
  • Kentucky
  • Louisiana
  • Mississippi
  • Missouri
  • Montana
  • Nebraska
  • North Carolina
  • North Dakota
  • Oklahoma
  • Puerto Rico
  • South Carolina
  • South Dakota
  • Tennessee
  • Texas
  • Utah
  • Virginia
  • West Virginia
  • Wisconsin
The states and territories on the list have positive tests in excess of 10 percent, or positive cases exceeding 10 per 100,000 residents, on a seven-day rolling average. People traveling here from any of these places must quarantine for fourteen days upon arrival in New York.
