The Columbia County Department of Health, after skipping yesterday, has released its numbers for today. Since Saturday, there have been no new cases of COVID-19. The two people who tested positive for the virus last week appear to have recovered very quickly, because the CCDOH is reporting no active cases in the county today. There is one fewer county resident in mandatory quarantine, and there are three in precautionary quarantine who were not in quarantine on Saturday. For the ninety-seventh consecutive day, there have been no deaths from COVID-19 in the county.
