The Columbia County Department of Health has released its numbers for today. Unfortunately, after four days of no new cases and one day with no active cases, there are two new cases today, and one of them is hospitalized. Since yesterday, there is one fewer county resident in mandatory quarantine, and the number in precautionary quarantine remains the same. The good news is that for the ninety-eighth consecutive day there have been no deaths from COVID-19 in Columbia County.
With two positives out of 298 test results, the positive percentage rate is 0.6 percent.
