There was supposed to be a meeting of the Common Council Housing and Transportation Committee on Wednesday at 6:45 p.m., but it didn't happen--at least not in any public way. No information was ever published about accessing the Zoom meeting, and no announcement was ever made that the meeting had been canceled. Gossips did learn, however, that Council president Tom DePietro, who has been hosting committee Zoom meetings as a courtesy, had suggested that Tiffany Garriga, who chairs the Housing and Transportation Committee, make her own arrangements for hosting the meeting after she accused him of muting her during the August 26 Legal Committee meeting, and that Garriga herself could not be present at Wednesday's meeting and had deputized Rebecca Wolff to chair the meeting in her place.
This morning, Gossips received word that the Housing and Transportation Committee meeting will take place today at 5:15 p.m. The information to access the Zoom meeting has already been published on the City of Hudson website. To locate it, scroll down to the calendar. Sounds like the perfect way to start the long weekend.
