We know from Council president Tom DePietro that a developer is interested in buying the former John L. Edwards school building and adaptively reusing it for affordable housing. At the Council meeting on Tuesday, DePietro said the negotiations were "bogged down on the school district side."

The HCSD Board of Education will hold a special meeting on Tuesday, March 23, 2021 at 5 p.m. in Room 22-C at Hudson Senior High School. The purpose of the meeting is to accept a purchase offer for the former John L. Edwards Primary School. The Board will also enter an Executive Session to discuss the history of a particular person(s) and pending litigation. The agenda will be available in BoardDocs 24 hours before the meeting.
Attendees should park in the north parking lot (by the electronic sign) and use the entrance in that lot (a sign will be posted). Masks/face coverings and health screening required.
Gossips may just mask up and go to the meeting if only to find out who the developer is.

Couldn’t Tom just tell you so you don’t have to risk your life for the information?
ReplyDeleteI mean, yes, but then he wouldn't be able to dangle it over us like Donald Trump telling us to tune in to next week's episode of the Apprentice, when the contestants will be unveiling their healthcare plans! (Episode may be delayed due to unforeseen circumstances.)
DeleteCarole, I am counting on you to tell us the inside scoop on this mystery meeting ! Thanks for your work.
