The Columbia County Department of Health has not released any numbers since Friday, but this information was included in a press release on Monday from Matt Murell, chair of the Board of Supervisors:
Six new cases of COVID-19 were record [sic] by the Columbia County Department of Health on Saturday, with a combined 19 cases recorded for Sunday through midday Monday, said DOH director Jack Mabb on Monday.
Thirteen individuals are currently hospitalized, and three are in the ICU. "The virus is clearly still out there," said Director Mabb.
On Friday, there were ten county residents hospitalized with the virus, three of whom were in the ICU.
The press release also announced that, "as a result of suspected COVID-19 exposure," the Department of Motor Vehicles, Real Property Tax Services, and the County Clerk's office--all offices located at 560 Warren Street--would be closed until Wednesday, March 10, at 9 a.m.
