I'm really interested to see how many votes are cast for anyone who is on the ballot but isn't actually on the race. Should be a good barometer for our local political engagement (or lack thereof)
You'll be amused to know that Calvin Lewis, who cannot serve on the Council because he is employed by the City, appears at this point to have garnered the most votes for Third Ward alderman.
Between local media, blogs, email, social media, word of mouth, and various other mechanisms, one would think that maybe our residents could figure out who is in the race and who isn't. Is that setting the bar of expectations too high?
