More Unofficial Election Night Results

The Columbia County Board of Elections has just updated its unofficial results to include the races for mayor and Common Council president. It's no surprise that Kamal Johnson and Tom DePietro, both incumbents running unopposed, won their respective races. What is interesting is how many voters wrote in someone else: 106 voters wrote in someone else for mayor, half of them in the First Ward; 79 voters wrote in someone else for Council president, more than half of them in the First Ward.
