For several months now, Hudson Valley Pattern for Progress has been working on an Affordable Housing Development Plan for Hudson, and for several weeks now, mostly in meetings of Hudson Community Development and Planning Agency (HCDPA), it has been reported that the plan is complete and is being reviewed by one or another group. At the last HCDPA meeting, it was indicated that the Affordable Housing Development Plan would be presented to the Common Council "next week," which would seem to mean it will be presented at the Council's regular monthly meeting on Tuesday, November 18. There was also mention of the mayor holding a town hall about the plan. So far, there have been no official announcements of either the presentation to the Council or the town hall, and it seems the document has been seen only by those most closely involved with its development.
