At the Common Council meeting on Monday, DPW superintendent Rob Perry reported on the progress at Promenade Hill. More of the landscaping has been installed, the bluestone border for the entryway into the central plaza is in place, and the stonework of the central plaza is underway.
The railings, which are being custom fabricated, continue to be the principal reason why it is not possible to predict when the work will be complete and the park can be reopened.

Didn't our Mayor claim in January or Feb. that the Park would be open in May? Yes, I believe Kamal did. I laughed when I heard it.ReplyDelete
