Tomorrow, Saturday, August 20, the Robert Jenkins House, 113 Warren Street, will be open for tours from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m.
The house, which was built in 1811, was originally the home of Robert Jenkins, the son of Seth Jenkins, one of the original Proprietors. In 1900, the house was given to the Hendrick Hudson Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution by Robert Jenkins' granddaughter Mrs. Frances C. W. Hartley. Since that time it has been the DAR Chapter House.
