There have been lots of articles in the financial press and elsewhere revealing some of the recipients of PPP (Paycheck Protection Program) loans. Today, a reader sent me the link to a list of companies in Hudson that received PPP loans. The list includes only companies that received loans of more than $150,000. There are sixty-six of them. Every company with a Hudson address is included, so many of the sixty-six are not actually in Hudson. The list does not provide the specific amount of the PPP loan, only a range--for example, $150k-350k.
Heading the list is A. Colarusso and Son, with a PPP loan amount of $2-5 million. The only other company on the list with a loan in that range is Ginberg's Institutional Foods.

Wow. I guess for their employess. It's for companies with 500 employees and under, right.
ReplyDeleteAs an aside, several small businesses on the 700 block are now closed, The Bees Knees, LOOK, and now Side Show, plus in 600 block Hawkins New York, who is a recipient of the PPP loan.
