The HDC Emergency Hospitality Task Force meeting scheduled for this afternoon at 3:00 p.m. has been canceled.
Tomorrow, Friday, July 10, there will be another meeting of the Tourism Board to consider more applications for funding from the Tourism Board's pot of money, which, according to Council president Tom DePietro, now totals "$425,00 and maybe another $10,000." On July 1, the Common Council approved $63,625 worth of grants recommended by the Tourism Board. On Monday, July 6, the Tourism Board agreed to fund another $33,600 worth of projects. Those projects and the ones agreed to tonight will be submitted to the Common Council for approval at a special meeting on Monday, July 13, at 6:00 p.m.
