COVID-19 Update

The Columbia County Department of Health released its numbers earlier today. Since yesterday, nothing has changed except the number of county residents now in mandatory quarantine. That number has been reduced by two. And, of course, testing continues. Since yesterday, the CCDOH has received the results for 159 tests.
As of 10 a.m. on July 19, 2020:
  • Columbia County has had 37 residents that have passed away from COVID-19.
  • Columbia County has 466 confirmed positive cases.
  • There are 15 active cases of COVID-19 in Columbia County. We are monitoring 27 county residents on mandatory quarantine, and there are 10 on precautionary quarantine.
  • 414 of the 466 cases have recovered from COVID-19
  • 9 of the positive cases are hospitalized, none of those hospitalized are in the ICU
  • We have received 15,525 PCR reports. Please note this number may represent duplicate reports, out of county reports, and multiple nursing home testings.
