COVID-19 Update

The Columbia County Department of Health has released its numbers for today. Since yesterday, there has been one new case of COVID-19 and no recoveries, increasing the number of active cases by one, to 13. There is one fewer county resident in mandatory quarantine and one more in precautionary quarantine. The number of people hospitalized with the virus remains the same, and there have been no more deaths.
As of 3 p.m. on July 24, 2020
  • Columbia County has had 37 residents that have passed away from COVID-19.
  • Columbia County has 473 confirmed positive cases.
  • There are 13 active cases of COVID-19 in Columbia County. We are monitoring 35 county residents on mandatory quarantine, and there are 12 on precautionary quarantine.
  • 423 of the 473 cases have recovered from COVID-19
  • 5 of the positive cases are hospitalized, none of those hospitalized are in the ICU
  • We have received 16,767 PCR reports. Please note this number may represent duplicate reports, out of county reports, and multiple nursing home testings.
