Try 'Em, You'll Like 'Em

Gossips is straying onto Hungry in Hudson's turf with this post, but I promise not to make a habit of it. This weekend, LICK The Market is offering Tuscan kale--also known as lacinta kale or dinosaur kale. Michael Harris tells us that Tuscan kale was grown in Thomas Jefferson's kitchen garden at Monticello. Today, it's used to make Oliva's excellent kale pesto. An exceptional way to enjoy Tuscan kale is as kale chips, using this recipe found on Epicurious.
