All hands on deck . . . provided they're covered with work gloves and holding a paint scaper. Tonight is the first work session on the Eleanor. Volunteers are invited to come through Door 19 at the former L&B building and help scrape paint from the wooden boat. To become a volunteer, you are asked to join the Hudson River Historic Boat Restoration & Sailing Society (membership fee: $20) and sign a release form. Volunteers should, if possible, bring their own paint scrapers, work gloves, eye protection, and dust masks or respirators.
