Important News About Parking

The mayor's aide, Gene Shetsky just issued this announcement:

Mayor Hallenbeck and Rob Perry, DPW Superintendent, report snow removal will resume tonight at 12 midnight. No parking allowed on the even side unless otherwise posted. Vehicles should be removed before 11 p.m. tonight. Residents and businesses should pay particular attention to the posted signs forbidding parking on designated streets.

Although tomorrow's date is even and under normal alternate side of the street parking regulations cars would be parked overnight on the even side tonight, the even side is the forbidden side tonight because that is the side from which snow has not yet been removed. Tonight cars need to be parked on the same side as they were last night. Alert your friends and neighbors, and always remember that the "No Parking" signs are the final word.
