IMPORTANT NOTICE

Those who rely on email notices from Gossips announcing when a new post has been published will have to do without them for today. Yesterday, on that long snowy day, I sent out too many notices and exceeded the limit allowed by Verizon. Hence, my ability to send email has been suspended for 24 hours.

    Switch to gmail. End of problem.

      That thought occurred to me, too, and I tried it, but it didn't work. There are two problems: I cannot export my distribution list, and, because I have Verizon DSL, it seems I am blocked even if I use my gmail account. The only remedy seems to be to wait.
