An Unveiling on North Fifth Street

The old teal green siding has been removed from this house at 76-78 North Fifth Street, owned by the Galvan Initiatives Foundation, to expose the original clapboard.

It is not known when the project started, but given the amount of scaffolding and number of workers still at the site in the late afternoon, it may have been done in a single day.

    1. @ Prison Alley: Since I have no evidence that the shingles that were removed contained asbestos (although shingles from that era typically do), I have edited the post to delete the word "asbestos."
