Tomorrow morning at 10 a.m. at City Hall, the Historic Preservation Commission will hold a public hearing on the proposal to add a second storefront to the building on the northwest corner of Warren and Second streets--134-136 Warren Street.
Longtime Hudsonians have suggested that the storefront at 136 Warren Street was added to the building, which had previously been a residential property, in the 1950s or possibly in the 1940s. It was altered to its present configuration in 2002, before Hudson had a preservation ordinance and before there was a Historic Preservation Commission.

Does the tree get to stay?
ReplyDeleteI guess it is all staying, as it is.
ReplyDeleteShame on the owner for threatening not to improve his building because he did not get his way.
That did strike me as a strange response too Jeff.
