Economic Development Forum Tonight
According to the Register-Star, the Capital Region Economic Development Council, one of ten regional economic development councils created in July by Governor Andrew Cuomo, is holding a public forum to seek input from citizens for a five-year strategic plan for the Capital Region. Since Columbia County has not in the past been generally considered part of the Capital Region, it might be important for people to show up at the forum to let CREDC know what we value about our county and its character and what we want to see preserved. The forum begins at 6:30 p.m. in the Arts Center Theatre at Columbia-Greene Community College.
