Tomorrow, Saturday, May 14, promises to be a very busy day in Hudson, with good and noble things to do from morning until late in the evening.
In the morning, it is Part 2 of the Oakdale Rewilding Project.
In this phase of the project, volunteers will be planting 100 beneficial plants and shrubs. Orientation takes place from 10:30 to 11:00 a.m. in the main parking lot at Oakland. The work of planting takes place from 11:00 a.m. to 1 p.m. Click here for more information.
In the afternoon, there is an opportunity to learn what is being proposed for Henry Hudson Riverfront Park.
This is the promised opportunity for the public to learn about climate change adaptation and review and respond to the proposed redesign of the park. The event takes place from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at the park.
In the evening, Hudson Hall hosts The Proprietor's Social.
The event begins with cocktails from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m., on both floors of the Hudson Opera House and outside in a transformed City Hall Place. After cocktails, there is dinner, either at Swoon or at Merchants Social, which is having its debut opening. There may still be tickets for the gala event, so click here for more information or call (518) 822-1438.
