One Down, One to Go

Tom Casey reports in today's Register-Star that the Hudson police, working on an anonymous tip, located Jamont McClendon, the alleged accomplice in the City Hall break-in, right here in Hudson--in an apartment on the 200 block of State Street: "McClendon arrested; Cross still on the lam."  Of Cross, Chief Ellis Richardson is quoted as saying, "'I have the utmost confidence in the detectives, and we have a large enough dragnet. . . . It is only a matter of time before we get Cross.'"
