Remember The Graduate and the advice given to Benjamin Braddock at his graduation party?
Well, plastics are in Hudson's future. A plastics company calling itself Phoenix Hudson is set to begin operation in the former Hudson Fabrics building at the north end of Second Street. What they do is plastics extrusion. Tom Casey has the story in today's Register-Star: "Hudson nets new plastics company." In the article, company president John Tonelli is quoted as offering these reassuring words: "No fumes, no air or water pollution. We just take the plastic and melt it into different shapes."
