All Creatures Great and Small

The Feast Day of St. Francis of Assisi is tomorrow, October 4, and on Saturday, October 6, in honor of St. Francis, Father John Perry, rector of Christ Church Episcopal, will conduct the annual Blessing of the Animals. Hudsonians are invited to bring their beloved and well-behaved pets to the circular drive beside the church at 10 a.m. for prayers and blessings, followed by treats--for the animals and their humans. The Blessing of the Animals happens rain or shine, although for every Blessing so far the weather has been spectacular.
