COVID-19 Update

The Columbia County Department of Health has released its numbers for today. Since yesterday, there has been one new case of COVID-19 and two recoveries, reducing the number of active cases to nine. Five of the nine active cases are now hospitalized. There is one fewer person in mandatory quarantine today than yesterday, but the county residents in precautionary quarantine remains the same. Today is the seventieth day that Columbia County has had no new deaths.

  1. I still think we need to know what our infection rate is, since that is the number that Cuomo is using to determine what we can and can't open--and who can and can't come into New York. Why can't the County give us that number?
