The Deadline Approaches

In June, Gossips reported that the Hudson Development Corporation (HDC) was selling a vacant lot it owns at 228 Mill Street.

The property was described in this way:
Great residential/single-family building lot in Hudson, NY in Columbia County. To be sold at auction by the Hudson Development Corporation via sealed bid. Surveyed in February 2020, lot measures 50' wide by 150' deep. Located on 228 Mill Street, a quiet street of well-kept properties with a mix of new and restored homes. Just a short walk to bustling Warren Street, the riverfront, dog park, Amtrak station and all that Hudson has to offer. Lot appears to be buidable with gently rising slope in rear with Catskill views. Municipal gas, sewer and water. Usual city permitting required for construction.
The minimum bid for the property was set at $32,500.

There is still time to submit a bid. Bids must mailed or hand delivered to Hudson Development Corporation, 1 North Front Street, Hudson, NY 12534, and received before noon on Tuesday, August 25. The form for submitting a bid can be found here. The bids received will be opened at HDC's regular monthly meeting, which takes place at noon on Tuesday, August 25.
