Not to Be Missed

In today's Register-Star, Common Council President Don Moore talks about Holcim's lawsuit against the City of Hudson in which the giant corporation seeks absolution from property taxes: "MY VIEW: Having your cake and eating it, too." Moore elaborates on the situation reported by Gossips last week and concludes: "Holcim wants it both ways: trucks and no taxes. The City deserves taxes and no trucks."
