Hudson in the Art World News

A reader provided the tip that Hudson is featured as "'Up and Coming' in the world's preeminent art publication, The Art Newspaper, for July/August 2011." The article talks about the plans of new owners, Steven Johnson and Walter Sudol, to turn the Charles Williams School into an arts center called "The Second Ward."

Also mentioned are the Marina Abramovic Foundation for Preservation of Performance Art, which is due to open in 2012 in the old Community Theater building at Seventh and Columbia streets, and NADA Hudson, a project of the New Art Dealers Alliance, which will debut at Basilica Hudson at the end of this month, on July 30 and 31.
